We welcome you at Pavlaina, a small residence complex consisting of a main residence and 3 independent studios, located in Emporeios, on Nisyros island in the Dodecanese.

Nisyros is the hostess’ birthplace and as luck would have it, she returned to the island after many years. Her family is known as Pavlaines, and coincidentally, the place she decided to live in is also called Pavlaina. This coincidence has been fundamental in creating and naming the residence.

Construction of the complex started in early 2020 and was completed in late 2022. It stretches in a land of 6000 sqm, and the houses have been built according to the local architecture style of stone-walled houses, using local materials and traditional techniques of the Dodecanese.

Nysiros is an ideal destination for family holidays, romantic gateway’s, or a holiday break for large groups. Guests can therefore book Pavlaina exclusively or choose to book one of its guest houses/studios.

A characteristic feature of the houses is their interior design and decoration curated by their hostess herself with genuine care and attention to detail. Drawing inspiration from the Greek islands, the hostess has opted for natural, soft tones of wood and stone, making every studio unique in character. All wooden decorative objects in the studios are designed by the hostess herself, using pieces of wood washed out on the beaches of the island and collected over the years. Every space in the studios has been designed with guests’ needs in mind, offering the warmest hospitality in a serene environment.
